National team of Kazakhstan

  • In the period from January 31, 2011 to October 15, 2013 M.Beranek was head coach of the Kazakhstan national team. Under his leadership, the team played in the two-round group «A» tournament of the EURO-2012 qualification and took 6th place out of 6 teams, losing to teams of Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Turkey and Germany.
  • It also competed in a group «C» of the UEFA XX World Cup 2014 qualification and took 5th place out of 6 teams, losing to Ireland, Austria, Sweden and Germany, but ahead of the team of the Faroe Islands.
  • In total, under the leadership of M. Beranek, the national team played 24 matches: +5-13=6, balls 25-45 (29.2% of points scored).
