He played at least 15 matches in the USSR Cup games and scored 7 goals. In the second league of the USSR Championship he played at least 38 games and scored 12 goals.
- The second record in the history of «Kairat» in terms of goals scored in the Top Division of the USSR Championship – 1962.
- In December 1962, Kvochkin was invited to the USSR national team to participate in matches in Latin America. Author of the only and winning goal against the Brazilian Fluminense at the legendary Maracanã.
- The «Kairat» Football Academy in Almaty (on Kablukov St.) was named after Sergey Kvochkin – 2013.
