  • One of the organizers of the football movement on the territory of modern Kazakhstan at the beginning of the 20th c.
  • It was in the house of the Nigmatullins in August 1913 in the Tatar region of Semipalatinsk (the modern address is Pushkin St., 58) that an organizational meeting of Turkic-speaking youth took place, at which it was decided to create a football team with the name Yarysh. The organizers of the creation of the team were Yunus Nigmatullin, Akhmetsalim Karimov and Mukhammed Saidashev.
  • September 22 (October 4), 1913 Yarysh held its first training session.
  • In 1914, Yarysh consisted of two teams, the first and second youth teams. According to the memoirs of Salakh Khismatullin, the future classic of Kazakh literature, Mukhtar Auezov, performed in the second team.
  • The cousin of Yunus, the seamstress Gafa Bayazitova, sewed T-shirts and a pale pink emblem on which Yarysh was written in Arabic script.
