- In March 2022, A.Karpovich was appointed acting head coach of the Kazakhstan national team. The team under his leadership played two play-offs to maintain residence in League «C» of the UEFA Nations League 2022-2023. The team won the first match (24.03.2022. Chisinau. Moldova – Kazakhstan). Lost in the second game (29.03.2022. Nur-Sultan. Kazakhstan – Moldova 0:1). The away goal advantage rule has been abolished. A penalty shoot-out was appointed, in which the Kazakhs won 5:4.
